Next year marks 25 years at ‘The Wynnstay, Machynlleth’ for Gareth. During this time, he has drawn on 40 years of experiences all over the world to promote the cause of good, clean and fair food.
Gareth is the ‘Slow Food Ambassador Chef’ for Wales and last year was accepted into the ‘Disciples of Escoffier,’ a prestigious Chef’s Association of which there are only 125 UK members.
A regular at food fairs, festivals and seminars, Gareth is happy to pass on his expertise and ideas. A fervent educator, he believes strongly that 'knowledge not shared is wasted.’
Despite a keen interest in food and wine, Gareth claims he has no hobbies as he has no spare time, but if he did, would spend it following his beloved Scarlets. Ymlaen, Sosban!
