Olivia Burt, Chef & Consultant, followed by book signing

Olivia Burt is a freelance chef, recipe developer and consultant with over ten years’ experience in the professional hospitality industry.

Beginning her career in Ireland with Darina Allen at Ballymaloe Cookery School, Olivia then worked in France as a private chef before moving onto L’Atelier Joël Robuchon in Paris. Back home in London, Olivia worked at Claridge’s Hotel for five years under Simon Rogan at Fera, and inside the main hotel kitchen, overlooking afternoon tea, weddings, and all dining throughout the hotel.

Olivia competed in the Roux Scholarship as a finalist for 2 years running, and also a finalist for MasterChef the Professionals 2019.

Now a Private Chef based in London, Olivia had her first cook book published last year, ‘Good Looking Cooking,’ with its main focus to celebrate seasonal British cooking, and to bring a love of cooking into the everyday kitchen, offering tips and hacks for creating restaurant-level dishes with ease at home.

When time allows, she escapes the busy world of Cheffing to visit the family home in Herefordshire and will be running the London Marathon this year.
