Stephen Snead is the winner of the 2024 World Marmalade Awards, triumphing over 3,500 entries from all over the world.
He is the first to win Double Gold with two marmalades, now being produced and sold by Fortnum & Mason. Judges described his winning marmalades as “innovative”, “very clever”, and “made by an extremely talented marmalade-maker”.
Stephen is an accomplished preserver, having won Awards for jams, jellies and chutneys at some of the largest country shows, as well as 19 World Marmalade Golds. He is also a Preserves judge. Stephen grows his own fruit in the beautiful Teme Valley, just a few miles from Ludlow
